One of the many things we love about March is that it celebrates Dental Assistants Recognition every year in March. The American Dental Assistants Association designated this celebration as the perfect time to recognize the versatile, multi-talented members of our dental team. For us, that means recognizing our amazing dental assistants!
Why Appreciate Your Dental Assistant?
Your dental assistant makes sure that you receive the best dental care possible by helping both you and our doctors. She checks you into the practice, prepares you for your procedure, and helps our dentists provide treatments like fillings, extractions, root canals, cleaning, and so much more. We want to recognize and thank our dental assistants for their great work with the following:
-Providing support throughout the office with everything from administrative and patient support to helping our dentists with exams while keeping operations moving smoothly.
-Helping you schedule appointments, welcoming you to the office and preparing you for your checkup and treatment. She excels at helping you feel calm and relaxed while you wait for your exam and treatment so you will leave happy with your care and pleased with your results.
-Educating you about your upcoming check-up, treatment, proper dental care and post-procedure care following certain procedures all while making sure your dental records are current.
-Maintaining safety by readying the exam rooms and equipment, continually cleaning and sterilizing them for everyone’s safety and managing infection control procedures.
-Assisting with administrative tasks like answering phones, scheduling appointments, updating your records and more.
-Tirelessly contributing to our practice team synergy by coordinating and supporting coworkers to help all team members work more effectively.
Our dental assistants have the winning traits to be most effective at their job. Not only do they have the education, career training, and experience to support our practice daily, they have reassuring interpersonal skills when it comes to working with you when you visit our office. They are a valuable asset to our team whether working chairside or interacting with general office communication.
