Marcela Almazan is a dental hygienist at our Romeoville location with nearly two decades of experience as a hygienist and over fourteen years as a dental assistant. Originally from Mexico, she graduated from Prairie State College in 2006 with an A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene and later completed additional studies in accounting. She is Laser Certified and has experience with whitening treatments, preventive care, and pediatric dentistry.
Marcela finds joy in seeing patients apply what they learn and transform their oral health over time. She believes every patient deserves an individualized care plan and is committed to helping each person achieve the highest level of oral health possible.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys world history, science fiction movies, and meditation. She also has a soft spot for cake and all kinds of pastries. Marcela approaches every workday with dedication and a genuine desire to provide the best care for her patients.
