Dr. Anthony Lotesto is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who was born and raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy prior to dental school. He graduated at the top of his class from the University of Illinois at Chicago with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Following residency, Dr. Lotesto served four years in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Commander.
Dr. Lotesto provides a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical care, including wisdom tooth removal, extractions, dental implants, pathology, trauma, and full mouth reconstruction. He is deeply focused on patient safety, comfort, and ideal outcomes, and takes pride in delivering exceptional surgical experiences. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys time outdoors, especially on the water, biking, walking his dog Sully, traveling with his wife and two children, playing musical instruments, and perfecting his barbecue skills. He remains active in local and national dental organizations and is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving patients and the community.
