Dr. Mirette Hanna is a general dentist who brings a strong academic foundation and a compassionate approach to patient care. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, she earned her initial dental degree from Alexandria University before moving to Canada with her family and later settling in Chicago in 2014. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2021, where she was recognized as one of the top students in her class. During her time at UIC, Dr. Hanna received multiple honors for clinical skill, leadership, and academic excellence, including the Dr. Gerson Gould and Mr. Sol H. Gould Memorial Scholarship, the Frances Best Watkins Award, the Pierre Fauchard Academy Senior Student Award, and the Golden Scaler Award. She was also inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Hanna is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Chicago Dental Society. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds and is fluent in both English and Arabic, allowing her to connect easily with a diverse patient population. Outside of dentistry, she loves spending time with her husband, her twin daughters, and their dog, Nala. She also enjoys giving back to the community through volunteering at her church.
